Jones Named HBCU Center Fellow
Brandy Jones, a CARL Research Associate and doctoral student in the Center for the Study of Higher and Postsecondary Education, was recently selected as a 2023 HBCU Center Fellow at the Center for HBCU Research, Leadership, and Policy at Howard University.
The fellowship is a 1-year, non-residential appointment designed to “strengthen and cultivate a multidisciplinary community of scholars that examines issues of significance to Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs).” According to the official program description, Fellows are expected to participate in the Center’s scholarly life and programs, including lectures, seminars, and conferences throughout the year as well as present their own research and submit a paper proposal for Howard University’s Research Week Symposium.
